Concerning the Open House on September 11th 2005 at the
Scottish Rite Temple at 1:00 p.m.
Brothers, Companions, Sir Knights, and Sisters:
This is your OPEN HOUSE. Maybe we are
trying to make this too structured. Lets make this as simple as we can. In
order to let everyone have a chance to speak, we have set a 2 minute time
limit. Prepare what you have to say and your Lodge or Organization will be
called upon to say it. Select the person who you would like to give it. We
will use the Masonic News Trestleboard as a call list. Send Dale a copy of
your speech and he will do his thing with the PowerPoint presentation. E-mail
address: dglueders@aol.com or Snail
Mail: 2145 Bradfield Drive, Lincoln, Ne.68502. 477-8627. Please get this in to
Dale as soon as you can.
Include in your speech anything that pertains to your
lodge. or anything you want to say about Masonry. We will try to follow our
planned program but it is not set in stone. This is the kickoff for our fall
lodge work, so give it your best shot.
With all of our many organizations, we are all bound to
learn something we did not know about our Organizations, and meet
many Brothers & Sisters we did not know.
If you have anyone in mind who would like to take part in
our open house, bring them along or invite them to attend.
This happens to be on Patriots Day and what better day to
have this open house about Masonry. Our Country was organized with the help of
Masons such as you and I. Keep in mind what this day means and remember those
who have perished on that fateful day. But, this is a day to celebrate what
and who we are as Masons.
May this celebration bring us closer together and work
together as a Masonic Family.
Again, this OPEN HOUSE will be held at the Scottish Rite
Temple in the large lodge room on Sunday, September 11th, 2005, at 1:00 p.m.
We will have refreshments after the program in the dining room. Bring whatever
you like in the way of hors d'oeuvres or finger food.
Fraternally,
For the Hiram Club of Lincoln
